small week in review

15 Jun

ran just over 40 km.  reasonably happy with how the body stood up to it and pace set in the shorter runs.  the long run too enoshima was a little slow, but was still getting over the crash a couple of days earlier.  talking of stacks – nearly had another last night.  running down a dark alley and did not see a step and missed it.  the freefall increased my forward momentum a bit which caused a miss of a second step, could see a hedge coming at me at a rate of knots, luckily a pole was near by to grab – luckily the pole did not let me head-butt it…

a day off tomorrow and going to a meeting with a keio uni rowing coach.  running 21 km again sunday

You do realise long runs are meant to be run at a slow easy pace……
