ups and downs

had intended on running another 30+ km last night.  only made it to 28.  the last 7 – 8 kms were super slow.  put it down to several reasons – jimbo is weak, the temp had not dropped from the day time temp, humidity was up, and may have gone a little too hard for too long.

on that note, it was a high cos considering the last kms were so slow, the early pace must have been pretty good – just now need to sustain it.

now to bore you with nerdy stuff. had some technology for feedback on the run.  heart rate maxed at 163 – i know exactly where that was. low was 73 – i know exactly where that was too – right at the start… average hr was 142 bpm.  jimbo now needs to workout how to get the software to work so he can properly analyse the data.  also wore an inertial sensor – outcome from that = a heap of data….
